Description
The OEFS provides extremely accurate measurements of E-Field strength distribution /signals, including wideband frequencies. This is possible because the technology uses almost no metal, Lithium Niobate wafers, an optical signal, and a measuring principle called "Pockels Effect", so the sensor is electrically "invisible" during measurements. The main uses of this instrument are for " research and development" and "investigation/measurements" of various EMI related issues. Now, major cost reductions can be achieved because the OEFS validates various theories and simulated models of EMC design during the design and modeling phase, both internal and external of the EUT.
Applications
1. Measurement of electric field intensity distribution in car
2. Measurement of microwave field strength distribution
3. Electric field waveform measurement of electrostatic discharge (air discharge)
4. MIMO antenna pattern measurement
